If your reading this article you're probably are wondering if MLM, Network Marketing is a Big Scam?
"Be your own boss, work from home, make CEO level income, $100k-$250k first year income potential" and the list goes on and on..... We've seen all the hype and all the sales script. The reality of it is this: We live in a society where people would rather wish than work, they would rather give 50% and expect 100% results. I think you get the picture.

The industry of network marketing, MLM, direct sales is a great way for the average person with little or no business background to earn an above average income. The problem is most people are not educated on the industry. Simply, Those catchy headlines aren't necessarily a lie. They just give you the benefits or the potential benefits of MLM/Network Marketing. The real problem is people don't understand the reality of the industry. I'm going to cut through all the hype and crap that you will probably find on the web if you have been searching for information on MLM, Network Marketing, Home Based Businesses, etc.

Here it is. There is no secret system out there that will take out the one equation that will skyrocket your success. All those websites and so called "Guru's" are just giving you enough information to pitch you their products, services, and or system. Then it gets better, they backdoor you into their company. They are the ones who make all the money. First by selling you their system. Brilliant, this constitutes them as an expert let alone someone you are willing to follow. Proof: you bought their book, e-book, program, etc. then you start getting e-mails from an auto responders pitching the success you could have using their so called proven system with their opportunity. Better yet, if you get involved, with their company they will be working directly with you to insure your success. Your thinking: "How can I fail?" Sound familiar? Yeah all too familiar. I've been down that road...

I literally didn't want anything to do with anything that sounded like home based B.S. ness... I guess you can say, that I threw the baby out with the bath water. If you can relate to this, I have some information that will bring some life back into your dream of being financially free. If you have not had a disheartening experience this information will save you thousands $$$ on top of the frustrations that could come from trial and error. When looking at opportunities we sometimes get influenced by the hype and over look the basics.

Here are the basics:

1. Find a product or service you believe in. If you believe your product or services can help people, the money will come.

2. Make sure the product is consumable or renewable. If it is a one time sale you are back to zero until your next sale.

3. Timing is very important when choosing a company. There are two big money bursts in a company typically in the first 5 years or when they go international. Anything other than that the BIG money has already been made. (You might be with the right company, just at the wrong time)

4. Don't rely on all the hype about an automated system where you just buy this program or system and whalla.. your $$$ Rich!!! The only one who is making money with that program is the one selling it to you. If your afraid to talk to people about your product, services or opportunity you probably haven't been taught the right way to build your business.

5. Make sure the compensation plan is lucrative. Strong residual payout, bonuses, and no break away (meaning if I work really hard and train someone well he/she excels and reaches a certain level, now I don't make a penny from him or her).

I have learned over the years if you help others build and live their dreams you will be living yours. You have to care about people. This belief and application has allowed me to be in the 3% income bracket and a top money earner in the home based business arena. Nothing takes the place of a smile, a caring heart and the personal touch. You can't find that with a so called automated system. As Zig Ziglar would say: "Help enough people get what they want, and you will get what you want".
